The Verso L’alto mini documentary is here! 🎉

It gives us so much joy to share this little film that explains a bit about our philosophy and passion for roasting coffee.

It was an absolute pleasure working with the talented @charlesedmundadams on this project. We are in awe of his boundless creativity and how he was able to capture us so perfectly in our natural habitat. Although we had never met before (aside from a few video calls) by the end of the four filming days Chuck left a dear friend. And this encapsulates the philosophy of Verso L’alto Coffee Roasters, for us it’s so much more than a bag of beans or a cup of coffee, our reason for going into business is about that connection, it’s about finding like-minded (coffee loving) souls who long to go “to the heights”, to draw meaning from the mundane, and to live in the moment while enjoying that fresh cup of coffee.

say..."ver-so lal-tow"

Translated “To the heights!”, Verso L’alto is a well-loved expression of Pier Giorgio Frassati.

Frassati was an Italian mountaineer who spent his life serving the poor, cultivating friendships, and savoring the splendor of the wilderness. To him, Verso L’alto was a summons to live life to the fullest, never settling for mediocrity and to always seek the highest good.
